The Pickup location at Blatnická 3, Bratislava will be closed on Friday, December 6, and between December 23-27.

Starting with October 28, 2019 the passports with visas will be returned to the applicants using new document delivery services. Applicants affected by this change will be notified by e-mail and SMS with the details regarding the new delivery method. For more information please visit this page.

If you surrendered your expired passport with a valid U.S. nonimmigrant visa to the Slovak Police, you should not apply for ESTA in advance of your travel to the U.S.  Please contact the U.S. Embassy via e-mail at [email protected] to report that your valid visa has been retained, or file a new application for a visa following the instructions at www.cmzize.co/sk.

Each applicant must complete the on-line DS-160 application at https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC . Please note that without the DS-160 confirmation page, applicants will not be allowed to their interview and they will need to schedule a new appointment.  Even if you have had a visa in the past, you must fill out a new DS-160 to apply for a new visa. Please make sure you read carefully the steps required to apply for a US Visa on our website: http://www.cmzize.co/sk/sk-niv-visaapply.asp

Starting November 1, 2016, eye glasses will no longer be allowed in visa photos.  For further details on photo requirements please visit: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos.html

As of November 29, 2016, Chinese citizens with 10-year B1, B2 or B1/B2 visas in Peoples’ Republic of China passports are required to update their biographical and other information from their visa application through the Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS) before travelling to the United States. This update must be done every two years, or upon getting a new passport or B1, B2, or B1/B2 visa, whichever occurs first. EVUS enrollment is available at www.EVUS.gov. There is currently no fee for EVUS enrollment. Until a fee is implemented, travelers can enroll in EVUS without charge. The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will keep visa holders informed of new information at www.cbp.gov/EVUS.

Payment Notice: Please keep in mind that in order to pay the visa fee it is MANDATORY to have CGI Reference Number. You will need this number for scheduling an interview! Failure to mention the Reference number will result in delays with confirming your payment.
